FAQS
DO YOU OFFER IN-OFFICE SESSIONS? IF SO, WHAT COVID PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN?
At this time, in-office sessions are still being offered safely and with a number of procedures in place. Regardless of the procedures listed, you will need to cancel any in-office appointment if you have been symptomatic, tested positive within the last 5 days or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive within the last 5 days. We are happy to schedule a teletherapy for you if you are able or reschedule your in-office appointment at least 10 days from your positive COVID screening.
For In-office sessions: You may wear a mask or we can provide one for you that you can keep. We request that you remain on the patient side of the therapy office to ensure appropriate distance from the therapist.
The office is cleaned and sanitized between each session and hand sanitizer will be available in the office.
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
Sessions are typically 50 min long. While we do not rush clients out of sessions, it's important to respect the time of all of our clients and ensure that no one is left waiting excess time for their session to begin. It's not easy to wrap sessions up sometimes, but the good thing is, your next appointment is just around the bend!
HOW ARE TREATMENT GOALS DETERMINED?
We believe in collaborative treatment planning and goal setting. This means that we will work together to determine your goals for treatment and will advise as to the best way to help you reach those goals. We will review goals regularly to ensure that we are on the right track.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
We sure do! We will set up a consultation with you to determine what fee arrangement will work best.
HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO BE IN THERAPY?
This is a great question! There is no specific answer because everyone is different and everyone has different treatment goals. There are a lot of factors to consider. So it really just depends on your needs and we will map out a plan that takes all of those factors into consideration.
